Tuesday 5th of April 2011 we arranged a spring conference. Thina Saltvedt, macro oil analyst of Nordea Markets, held a presentation about todays oil markets and the oil price in the future, with a special focus on the unrest in northern african and the middle eastern oil exporting countries. She also spoke about the effects of the earthquake outside Japan, on the energy markets.
Finn Erik Kolnes from Accenture presented issues that consultants face when working for energy companies, in his presentation called "Managing and responding to industry trends - an Accenture perspective".
About 130 students attended, and some stayed to speak with the presenters after the conference.
