Fall conference 2011 was succesfully arranged October 3rd. The team for the conference was Crossing Energy Frontiers and it was about investing in new international energy markets. Statkraft, Europe´s biggest company on renewable energy, and BKK sent representatives to talk about their experiences.
05.04.2011 Spring Conference 2011
Tuesday 5th of april 4.30 pm we arranged a spring conference. Thina Saltvedt, macro oil analyst of Nordea Markets, spoke about todays oil markets and the oil price in the future, with special focus on the unrest in oil exporting countries and the earthquake in Japan. Finn Erik Kolnes from Accenture spoke about issues that consultants faced when working for energy companies, in his presentation called "Managing and responding to industry trends - an Accenture perspective". About 130 students attended. The conference lasted approximately 1,5 hours.
02.02.2011 Field trip to Sima hydropower plant.
Wednesday 2. frebruary NHHS Energi together with Statkraft organized a field trip to Sima hydropower plant in Eidfjord. Approximately 40 students attended the trip together with the board. The attendants got to participate in a quiz on the bus, a tour in the powerplant, and a short presentation from Statkraft.
22.10.2010 Energidagen 2010: European Power Tomorrow - What does the future look like for the European energy sector
Friday 22. October NHHS Energi arranged Energidagen 2010 on NHH. We had energy companies on stand inside and outside the Aula. Later this day we had presentations by different speakers and Jørgen Festervoll as master of ceremonies. After the presentations we had questions from the audience which were discussed and answered by the speakes. The subject of the day was the European power market in 15 years. Read more here
